Dr. Jennifer Mutch is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacements of the hip, knee and shoulder. She offers the bikini-incision anterior hip replacement technique which avoids muscle injury and has an aesthetic scar. She has a special interest in shoulder instability and minimally invasive techniques including arthroscopy, thumb suspension for arthritis, carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, ultrasound-guided injections, and more.
Dr. Mutch is an Academic Orthopedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor at McGill University. She did her orthopedic surgery residency at Université de Montréal. She then pursued fellowship training at the Detroit Medical Center and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, with advanced exposure to upper limb sports injuries, trauma, reconstruction, and arthroplasty. Her training includes experience with professional athletes, such as the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Pistons, as well as surgeon coverage for the Toronto Roller Derby league.
