Dr. James Moore is an orthopedic surgeon and Head of Orthopedic Surgery at Hôpital Notre-Dame, with expertise spanning hip and knee replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and specialized foot and ankle surgery. Fellowship-trained in Sydney, Australia, he has advanced expertise in robotic-assisted arthroplasty and lower-extremity reconstruction.
After completing his medical studies and orthopedic surgery residency at Université de Montréal, Dr. Moore pursued advanced fellowship training in Sydney, Australia, specializing in foot and ankle surgery and robotic-assisted arthroplasty. He joined the orthopedic service at Hôpital Notre-Dame in 2018 and has served as Head of Orthopedic Surgery since 2023. His broad orthopedic practice includes hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, robotic-assisted knee arthroplasty, ACL reconstruction and meniscal surgery, shoulder replacement and arthroscopy, rotator cuff and labral repair, as well as specialized foot and ankle surgery.
